Village Tidy Up

We will be holding our annual ‘spring clean’ the weekend before the Festival on Saturday the 24th June. We would love to see lots of volunteers to help us again this year – we will provide all litter picking equipment as well as refreshments for all the workers at the end of the tidying up! There will also be prizes for our luckiest volunteers (one for adults and one for under 18s) so please do come along and help out.…

Hampton-in-Arden Festival

June 30 - July 2

All the usual favourites will be at this years festival including *Church Fete stalls *Car Show *Bouncy Castles *WI Bake Off *Crafts Competitions *Welly Wanging *Scarecrow Competition (Comic Book Heroes Theme this year) and ending with the always awesome Concert in the evening There’ll be a range of food stalls, an ice cream van, Solihull Fire Engine, the Open Air Church Service and BIG Lunch on the Sunday and much more to be confirmed… Put the date in your diary now!!

Neighbourhood Plan Referendum

Following consultation and publicity on the Submission Draft of the Hampton in Arden Neighbourhood Plan last September, the Plan and representations were progressed to independent examination. The Examiner’s report was received early in February and is published on the Solihull MBC’s website.  The report makes a variety of recommendations that are of a relatively minor nature and which do not fundamentally change the role and direction of the Plan.  The Examiner concluded that the Plan should proceed to Referendum, based…
