Balfour Beatty (on behalf of HS2) are going to be starting work on their HS2 Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) programme in the village. The work is scheduled to take place on Meriden Road and Diddington Lane on the 11th October 2018. Traffic management will be installed to allow the works to be undertaken and, as such, there will be a disturbance to local residents. Residents in the affected areas have or will receive a notification letter informing them of the work.
All GPR works will start at 9:30am and will be on-going until 15:30pm. As Balfour Beatty will be implementing traffic management there may be traffic management operatives on site from 8am. It is understood that this will have an influence on residents getting to and from places, but Balfour Beatty have confirmed that they will aim to reduce disruption as much as possible.
