We understand that parking difficulties on Marsh Lane have been a persistent issue in our Community.  We want to assure you that the Parish Council is fully aware of this problem and is actively working towards finding a solution.

Recently, the George Fentham Trust submitted plans to create an additional 40 car parking spaces in the current temporary overflow car park.  However, we regret to inform you that the Trust had to withdraw the application after being informed by Planning Officers that it would be refused due to it being considered an inappropriate development of the green belt.

In light of this setback, the Parish Council is now engaging in discussions with the Highways Department to highlight the parking difficulties faced.

Please be assured that resolving the parking challenges on Marsh Lane remains a top priority for Councillors who act on your behalf.  We want to emphasise that even if visible progress may not always be immediately apparent, we are actively working behind the scenes to find a solution.

Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation.
